The Baltic Sea and the Finnish Archipelago
The sound of the waves and the wind, the endless summer nights, just lying still and doing nothing on the warm and smooth bedrock, the silence when the birds have migrated. My family has a cottage in an island near Turku and that’s my happy place.
Helsinki the Capital of Finland
The jugend architecture and the parks and the cleanliness and the public transportation and how everything just works. All the small details you don’t even notice (like Porrastie in Kaivopuisto, Boing bird graffitis around the city and the small fossils in the Ateneum Staircase). I’ve lived in Helsinki since 2005 and it still makes me happy every day.
Books & Museums
I read about 100 books per year. The new central library Oodi is one of my favourite places in the world. I also have a Museum card and I love visiting weird museums.
Training
I walk a lot, about 10 000 steps a day. I lift weights at the gym, my favourite things are backsquats and chin ups. Once in a while I go bouldering indoors, my record is 6B+.
